GNU-Win32 beta 17 is now available from:

	ftp://ftp.cygnus.com/pub/gnu-win32

Since many changes have been made since the last release, please
be sure to read the README file which covers installation, changes,
etc...  It is available on the ftp site as README.txt and also from
the project WWW page in html format.  The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
file has also been reworked and is available from these two sources as
well.  Note that unfortunately, we are unable to make a PowerPC version of
this release at this time.  It is possible that we may make a 17.5 release
for this platform at some point in the future.

For various reasons, beta 17 took much longer than I expected -- thanks
for your patience and I hope you enjoy the new release...
