I tried to bootstrap the gcc snapshots and everything goes OK until
it tries to make an executable with the new compiler.  xgcc does not
generate valid windows NT binaries even though it appears to be using
the correct as and ld.  Any clues?  The first pass is obviously
generating valid executables using the same as/ld (from looking at
the command with -v).
