Hello Sean,

	Thank you for the information.  Will try various things from
your '/usr'  mount suggestion.

	Steve Willer's advice got me up and working with both
the gcc and c++ commands executing compiles directly from the
C:/bin sub-directory, without having to use mount.

	Steve's method is easier for me at this time though, until
I get to know more about startup scripts et al.
