However, the benchmark pages are not very helpful (yet) in determining 
where to get it, I'm supposed to change that, but when.... ;(

In short, its only available through egcs cvs. You can follow the
instructions to check out the egcs source tree, but instead of entering

cvs co egcs

just enter

cvs co benchmarks

It does, about as rarely as it does affect riscified code ;)
