The same goes for me. I'm obtaining just the same error that Tiago is
reporting in the quoted mail.
I have a p200-MMX running Debian 2.0 with kernel 2.2.5 and glibc-2.1.
I've tried to compile pgcc using egcs-1.1.2, pgcc-2.91.60, pgcc-2.91.57 and
gcc 2.7.2.3, and I always get the same error in the first stage when pgcc
tries to compile itself. I've tried to disable the haifa code and I've played
with other ./configure options, but the error persists.
