	Hi,

I'm relatively new to linux. I just grabbed the rpms for pgcc and
installed them on my RH 5.2 system. I also ensured that the /lib/cpp link
points to the cpp in /opt/pgcc. I did nothing about gcc or egcs. Just
grabbed the rpm and ran. :)

I am curious as to how to test or make sure that everything is fine when I
go to recompile the kernel and/or other packages via the usual commands. I
noticed that I did recompile the kernel and lines beginning with 'gcc' and
with the option '-DCPU=i686' kept flitting by. Do I have to change the
makefiles, the command-line arguments and/or anything else for proper
compilation?

	Thanks.
