There aren't, the kernel (I assume you are talking about the linux-kernel)
is broken (even version 2.2.3).
Linus Torvald does only support gcc-2.7.2, he does not support any current
gcc, egcs or pgcc version.
Its not my fault, bug him, torvalds AT transmeta DOT com!
