He knew you were using amiga because of this in your mail header probly =) X-Mailer: MicroDot-II/AmigaOS NC 1.2 [NC2-#000001A4] as far as the symbols, I do not have a non-linux machine to test, but dlopen, dlclose and dlsym should all be in libdl, socket,getpeername, gethostbyname,etc. are in libc. authdes_create is the only one I can't find. -David Waite
