I guess the rpms you have are not compatible to your distribution (anybody
wants to argue that rpm isn't broken?).

You can _try_ to install these using --nodeps, but beware that

- pgcc might not run, likewise your old compiler (thats not a big problem)
- the glibc upgrade might very likely trash your machine

We have libc5 binaries on our webpage at
http://www.goof.com/pcg/binaries-linux.html, these are more suited than the
rpms you have downloaded.
