It's probably got the hidden or system attributes set. If you still have Windows installed, you might be able to get rid of it by right-clicking on the Recycle Bin and clicking Properties, selecting "Configure drives independently" then tick the "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin" box on the tab corresponding to the partition in question.
