Wow,this is turning into a real nightmare!

I have the old binaries, but setver does not work in tricking restore.exe.  
I tired to format a floppy for dos 6.22 bootup but i can not run the old 
format program for the same reason.  I tired hacking it by formatting a 
floppy and switching the command.com binary, but no luck there eithter.

Any other ideas?
