Good news, but how do I make it work? I tested it just now: I went
to the c:\windows\favorites in a dos box and typed:
zip -R _fav *.*
and only 8.3 names were shown during zipping. After that I opened
the file with EnZip (free version of WinZip) and only 8.3 names
were stored in the zip file!
I have version 2.2. Is there any new version or special command
for LFN?
Is there any other command line archiever that uses LFN? My problem
at the moment is to make a backup of my internet files: Email+
bookmarks+Addresses and this cannot be made without LFN :(
