All I did with opendos was to load everything high that would load high
and was tsr.
I use opendos emm386.exe in config.sys with
dpmi=of frame=none.
Might help to know brand and model of machine under discussion since
special work-arounds may be available perhaps from
http://support.novell.com.
it's possible to search their knowledge base on brand of machine
and sometimes to come up with help.
I can send my config.sys and autoexec.bat to any interested in
looking at them.
