I think tasks and devices fall into two distinctly different categories. It's possible your mouse driver may have had a fight with the task manager but there's no way to know since you don't tell us the version and brand of your mouse and mouse driver. jude <jdashiel AT eagle1 DOT eaglenet DOT com>
