My cdrom drive normally uses mscdex.exe and the driver's name is sbide.sys. The stuff after the /d: on mscdex line in autoexec.bat is usually MSCD001. To convert this drive's signature would /d:NWCD001 work if trying to use nwcdex.exe? jude <jdashiel AT eagle1 DOT eaglenet DOT com>
