It's possible netizens from comp.lang.forth might be interested in helping out with the source code conversion. For a language that lands our space shuttles and gets the Rodney Dangerfield status even with that to be able to improve on m$dog might be some cause for bragging rights within the forth community and further serve to help that community improve their beginner's documentation which would probably be packaged with the opendos system and once would-be programmers understood the code base adding to it would be easier than doing so using assembly. Btw, in forth it's possible to program on whatever level is needed from high-level down to the bits. That's adjusted by the programmer dependent on their level of capability with the different programming levels in forth. jude <jdashiel AT eagle1 DOT eaglenet DOT com>
