It seems possible here that both packages could agree on a common XML
format, which I think would be great.


Roland, is there already a DTD or XSD for your XML format? I didn't
see mention of one in the doc. If not, I'll volunteer to write one.

Vladimir, would you consider looking over Roland's XML and check if
something is missing from your perspective?
