It is possible to add a gafrc file but maybe something better is needed.

There should be no problem for gschem or cschem to know which sub schematic it reference but the opposite direction i not that simple. Adding an attribute(s) list with references pointing in other direction would be possible but is it really a good idea. Problem is similar for symbol files and they have a local copy with a reference so they could be updated, this might be a solution for sub schematics to or? but?
