Ok this is going to sound utterly ridiculous, but here goes ..

Given the mailing list and IRC are very heavily skewed (in very
orthogonal directions!) .. how about we put a Very short (like <5
question) survey before users download geda/pcb and we start to amass
SOME kind of realistic data about who the users are, and very VERY
roughly how they use geda. Possibly with a longer one on geda-project or
something, I dunno.

"We" really are pulling in all sorts of directions, and different devs
have very different ideas about what a priority should be. Most are
centered around some unique use-case or personal preference, which,
whilst interesting, is very haphazard. Lets try and put some boundaries
on some of this! Not to say that I don't see some really useful stuff
going on too, just to mention!
