Oh, it=92s worse than that. Who knows what the device attribute=92s =
significance is? We have no consistent convention, but some backends use =
it.

When do you actually need pinlabel? When do you need refdes? Pintype is =
specialized to digital design with a MSI of a single logic family. =
Gsymcheck complains about missing attributes you don=92t necessarily =
need (lots of things don=92t have footprints), and also about =
flow-specific attributes. It=92s pretty sloppy, but geda-gaf still =
captures designs effectively.
