I do things like this with pins2gsch. I define a connector pinout in a =
table, and use it for both connectors in a pair. Sometimes I have =
scripted transformations of the table, for example for the case where =
four identical cables plug into a single board, with some nets in =
common, but some per-cable.

Then pins2tex helps in constructing the documentation.
