Unlike most language it's actually different. You can (gasp) say "if condition do_that" or "do_this if condition" just like in every human language and almost no computer languages. Have you looked at perl 6 yet? We may be able to say if $foo =3D=3D 1 or = 2, just like people invariably do, rather than if ( $foo =3D=3D 1 or $foo =3D= =3D 2). Shock horror.
