I resemble that remark.  This last week I could not divert to do compile and try out even though I was a voter
in igor2's poll.

+1  Fossil is a good "central" DVCS that is reliable, has no rebase function, keeps all history,
and has built in conveniences for project status, bug tracking, repository server,
web pages that help newbies get started with both project and the VCS.

Fossil has an autosync work flow and a Manual-Merge Work flow

It's OK to be off-line for long periods if organized as a branch

I think there are many pragmatic layout folk that "just use it" and they only upgrade every couple of years when they hear about
a feature that is good enough for their effort.
