Yes. I have a git repository with my footprint, symbols. In the past, I had a
postgresql database with all my parts.

I am now migrating from postgres to SQLight, which is a self contained
database system. I'm going to place the sqlite file under version control.

I have a few perl script that attaches various attributes to the symbols
(reading them from the database). I call this process light2heavy; I place
light symbols, and the script makes it heavy.

After that, I can generate or update the PCB.

With the current migration, I want to add 3D models to my parts, and write
some script that does 3D models of my boards. Yes, I know that there is the
openscad exporter.

I have a makefile system that orchestrates that all.
