And.. a little progress, but nothing useful yet. I think I got to the 
bottom of the STEP assembly structure and what algorithm to use to 
construct an assembly from individual STEP models. No code as yet.

For a "production" solution, we'll also need a way of handling a mix of 
part models in both AP203 and AP214. That will probably require 
reconstructing parts of the models in whichever (AP214 or AP203) we 
choose.
