There is also solvespace that uses step.  It's a GPL 3d CAD with parametric solver
for constraint based design.  Has the usual CSG primitives, plus shapes from bezier curves,
and rotatable around an axis to generate "lathe" shapes.  It comes in a windows exec and can be compiled
with the FLTK toolkit dependency on debian linux and some others without much trouble.
