With my current project I finally got around to do digital hardware. A
micro controller will be used to switch states of an analog regulator. I
decided to go with the ATXmega series by Atmel. These processors had not
been included in the collection at gedasymbols.org, yet.

Initially, I could not decide which specific model to use. So I made
symbols for all of them:
http://www.gedasymbols.org/user/kai_martin_knaak/symbols/digital/processors/

Symbols were made with a slightly modified version of djboxsym.pl . The
large vertical text is actually the value of the description attribute.
This attribute gets detached on instantiation of the symbol. So the string
can be changed on the fly as needed.

... and the corresponding TQFP footprints:
http://www.gedasymbols.org/scripts/search.cgi?key=generic%2FTQFP*
These footprints are meant to be friendly to hand soldering with slightly
longer pads. The coordinates are strictly metric. No mil dimensions.

I did not bother to include BGA versions of the devices. But otherwise
these symbols should cover the whole series. Symbols have yet to be used,
no guarantee for correctness. If you find an error, I'd be happy to fix.

Enjoy,
