  Honewell is a classic case of a corporation being so big that there's
really no need for them to be nice.  They make so damn much money on
selling little no-brainer things in such huge quantities that everyone
needs, like the gas valve in my new furnace (it was being installed
yesterday and I happened to see the big Honeywell stamp on it), that
doing anything to help people...even helping people buy and use their
products...just isn't on the priority list.  They survive almost despite
themselves.
