You have to drag the refdes when it it is in unselected state. And yes, this is confusing. It deviates from the way almost every other graphics application works.=20 IIRC, a long time ago no object could be moved when selected. This is not true anymore. Even general free floating text can be moved when selected. Seems like refdes/names of footprints did not receive this update. I consider it a bug. > (light blue). Isn't light blue the "found" colour? > And there was a menu entry like "Config/Lock Names" Ack. If pcb does not seeem to respond to mouse input, Settings->Lock_Names or Settings->Only_Names is a good tip to check. ---<)kaimartin(>--- --=20 Kai-Martin Knaak --Sig_/sHNM3OM1seoMIDtE7CAYSAo Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=signature.asc -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.20 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAlI9upQACgkQt9RkiGwLn1NjYgCbBwvPnH8US67pKCYo7QkcPnZz 9tcAn2OGm0PMJx6gKV35OkyZ5i86qWPi =L4Nl -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Sig_/sHNM3OM1seoMIDtE7CAYSAo--
