As part of archiving geda-project.org, I went on to fix up the broken 
links (some of them were broken since 2015 and nobody cared to report or 
fix them, not even on the wiki side). I also modifified the download 
section to direct users to the above link. This is the page that replaces 
the original geda download page (which is still available in its original 
form in the archives I host now).

My plan is to keep 99% of the content of geda-project.org as-is, with 
clear indication that the project is not developed (and information is 
outdated/archive where necessary) - except for download.html, where I'd 
update links as they break, for those who insist on using obsolete 
unmaintained tools.

I obviously can't promise that I will always figure broken links in 
download.html with no delay, but it surely won't be worse than the 
original download wiki page was the past 6..8 years... I mean many of the 
links there were broken or pointed to obsolete versions or the wrong gits.
