I think I've already answered this very question in an earlier email. 
You'd find some common footprints int he stock lib shipped with pcb-rnd, 
in its library widnow. Then the rest is edakrill or whatever source you 
want, we load a lot of formats.

It is, and there is a help on that page telling you all the parameters and 
their menings. This is the same you have in the library window in pcb-rnd. 
I recommend using the librayr window instead, with the parameter edit 
button.

If you do not close the message log window, just move it aside, it won't 
have to be open again.  Anyway you shouldn't ignore errors but try to 
understand and fix them.
