In sch-rnd that's done with a parametric symbols: open the library window, 
type connector(5) in the filter, and you get an 5 pin connector symbol 
generated. You can type any number. If you need 2 rows (dip): 
connector(5,2).

(If you click on the connector symbol in the library window tree, you'll 
find the edit parameters button getting enabled; if you click that button, 
you get a dialog box with all the parameters it accepts)

Thanks; I subscribed you on the list yesterday and we had traffic 
since. I've just checked my server's log and it seems your mail server 
refused to receive mail from my server:
