Erich suggests you can map the eagle board file as a footprint library and pick any footprint from it to place on your board, either from the library window or through any of the schematics->PCB paths. Just as if you have first extracted the footprints and saved them in a directory, but you can skip this boring extraction step. (This method is useful if you find a board that has many footprints you need. The board can be in whatever format, lihata, eagle, kicad, protel/autotrax, specctra dsn, mentor hyperlynx, geda/pcb, it all works the same way) Regards, Igor2
