In the directory where I am currently working I have the following
files:-
chris$ ls -l
total 48
-r--r--r-- 1 chris chris 45 Jul 6 15:26 #untitled_1.sch#
-rw-rw-r-- 1 chris chris 2028 Jul 6 15:29 bbbpsu.sch
-r--r--r-- 1 chris chris 2052 Jul 6 15:05 bbbpsu.sch~
-rw-rw-r-- 1 chris chris 5995 Jul 5 19:34 lm10adc.sch
-r--r--r-- 1 chris chris 5679 Jul 5 19:18 lm10adc.sch~
-rw-rw-r-- 1 chris chris 8739 Jul 3 21:12 odinbbb.sch
-r--r--r-- 1 chris chris 7557 Jul 3 17:20 odinbbb.sch~
If I look in the 'File'->'Open Recent' menu in gschem I see:-
0. bbbpsu.sch
1. socket.sym
2. odinbbb.sch
3. odinbbb.sch
4. 12n.sch
5. odinbbb.sch
This really isn't very useful! :-) There's no way to tell which
'odinbbb.sch' is the latest one, I'd guess it's the one at number 2
but it's hardly user friendly.
While I'm at it why are there both xxxxx.sch~ and #xxxxx.sch# files?
Plus, while I'm at it, # is a really rubbish character to use because
it's the comment marker in most (Unix/Linux) shells.
I'll add these to the bug tracker if they're reasonable comments.
