If anyone knows of a better forum please advise. I have a nema 23 stepper motor (to turn a trolling motor for a kayak) I want to drive in bipolar 2 phase. I'm using a Microchip 16f1939 with the On Semiconductor STK682 stepper motor driver. I have verified with a logic analyzer and oscilloscope that the output signals to the stepper are in the correct phases and the correct voltage level (I may be able to attach the screenshot). =E2=80=8B I know it is sketchy but I have 3 nema 23 steppers from ebay. What I'm looking for is advice on how to proceed. I just spun a new board with the bare minimum circuitry to drive the stepper and this output did not turn the stepper. The two choices I see are purchasing another stepper from a reputable dealer or purchasing a ready-made stepper driver and associated accessories to drive the steppers then analyze the difference between output signals. Suggestions? Advice?
