It definitely should be saved. There'll be a line in your *.pcb like
this:
Groups("1,c:2:3:4:5:6,s:7:8")
You can manually edit the *.pcb in case it's corrupted that line in a
way that it doesn't save it right, but I don't recall that ever
happening.
