How about simply > > ./configure CPPFLAGS='-DTAB_EXT="_tab" -DOUTPUT_EXT=".out"' > > ? We don't want to use a literal _tab, since when the DJGPP port runs on Windows, it supports long file names, and can use foo.tab.c. Thus the use of pathconf. (Btw, I still don't understand why using pathconf is not TRT for the Posix systems as well.) As for why the change I asked for in config.h is important, this has to do with how the DJGPP port is configured and built. I cannot afford describing this here; if you are interested, please study config.bat and config.sed that are parts of the DJGPP port (and which I hope will be accepted by the maintainers to be held in the djgpp/ subdirectory).
