I didn't check in the change yet.  I'd prefer people to see how many 
packages does it break, before I make up my mind.  Laurynas says it only 
breaks Autoconf, but it seems there are more packages that will need 
changes.  If there are too many, I think we should defer this to the next 
release, and in the meantime config.guess changes will propagate into the 
GNU sources.
