Hi!
Presence of specs file in $DJDIR/lib is expected to cause even more problems
in future with next versions of egcs.
With DJGPP port of egcs-1.1.2 perhaps only related thing is that ld.exe is called
directly instead of doing this through collect2.exe
For development snapshots there are more problems. Seems I'll have to add
*cc1plus
%{!fno-permissive: -fpermissive} ....
to avoid one problem with C++ (C++ compiler silently assumes -fpedantic-errors
unless this is specified, see gcc/cp/decl.c for details). This will not work for
earlier compiler versions so cannot be in lib/specs. Last snapshot I tested is
egcs-2.93.18 19990412. It was so in January and nothing is changed in April.
I got the same with January snapshots also under Linux so I'm almost sure it's not
an accident.
Andris
