I haven't had any luck finding the problem with configuring Texinfo. I 
need some more information about the setup where the problem 
occurs so I can duplicate it:

SFN env or LFN env?
PATH_SEPARATOR = ?
PATH_EXPAND = ?

and anything else you can think of that might help me find the problem.
