I have tried Eli's itimer patch for profiling, and it certainly seems to work fine. I've tested it on DOS, Windows 98, and Dosemu, and all give perfectly feasible profiles. (I used the Calc arbitrary precision calculator finding the factorial of 10000.) Perhaps someone who's familiar with the itimer code should improve the test, so we can have some confidence that we won't break them anymore. -- Nate Eldredge nate AT cartsys DOT com
