No, I've been using v2 since it first came out, and just upgraded to v2.01.
Where is it defined? It's not in gcc -dumpspecs:
*asm:
*asm_final:
*cpp:
%{posix:-D_POSIX_SOURCE}
*cc1:
*cc1plus:
*endfile:
*link:
*lib:
%{!shared:%{g*:-lg} %{!p:%{!pg:-lc}}%{p:-lc_p}%{pg:-lc_p}}
*libgcc:
%{!shared:-lgcc}
*startfile:
%{!shared:%{pg:gcrt0%O%s}%{!pg:%{p:mcrt0%O%s}%{!p:crt0%O%s}}}
*switches_need_spaces:
*signed_char:
%{funsigned-char:-D__CHAR_UNSIGNED__}
*predefines:
-Dunix -Di386 -DGO32 -DMSDOS -Asystem(unix) -Asystem(msdos) -Acpu(i386) -Amachine(i386)
*cross_compile:
0
*multilib:
