Get as much binaries as possible from Charles Sandmann's and Andrew
Cottrell's DJGPP Refresh page:

These problems happen because Windows 2000 and XP have a buggy
implementation of the LFN API; the latest djdev203.zip has workarounds
for these bugs, but unless your binaries were rebuilt with the updated
libc.a, you will not be able to get rid of these bugs.
