hi I am having problems with installing the following packages

yamd 0.32 and TV 1.0.10

compling the sources is no problem, but installing is.

from the dos prompt, I get the following error (trying to install TV)

C:\UTILS\Djgpp\contrib\tvision>make install
install -d -m 0755 c:/utils/djgpp/include/rhtvision
C:\UTILS\DJGPP\BIN\GINSTALL.EXE: cannot open
make.exe: *** [install] Error -1

and from bash I get a little further

install -d -m 0755 c:/utils/djgpp/include/rhtvision
install -m 0644 include/*.h c:/utils/djgpp/include/rhtvision
C:\UTILS\DJGPP\BIN\GINSTALL.EXE: cannot open
make.exe: *** [install] Error -1

I get similar errors with yamd, whats wrong! is there an error with the
makefiles? am I missing a GNU package? or is part of my installation
corrupt?
