I have seen messages about how to use long filenames and read the documentation and there is an environment variable one can use to use long filenames, namely LFN=y. Unfortunately this seems to only work for Windows 95. Thus my question is, "can one read long filenames on Windows NT systems"? If not, will this be supported in a future release? And what about Windows 98 that just came out this year? James Johnson jjohnson AT daac DOT gsfc DOT nasa DOT gov
