To the ALLEGRO-Pros:
I often use Vesa 1 graphics mode 640x480. I need to influence the refresh
rate, not because I want flicker free displays, but because I need to time the
display very accurately.
So using vsync() and a ms-timer (millisecond not that other bad word), I
measured the time between refreshes, and on the average I always get some 13.6
ms.
It doesn't matter, whether I use SciTech's utitlities that claim to influence
refresh rate or use the Dos-Drivers of my VGA card.
Question: Am I on my own using vesa-modes with ALLEGRO, or can I get some
utility to help me out?
