Pardon the brief off-topic interlude but why is main() {...} a
problem? I'm just learning C and all the books and tutorials I'm
using (including the O'Reilly book =Practical C=) employ the plain old
vanilla (i.e., *without* the "int main(void)") format. If these books
and tutorials are leading me down the garden path, I'd like to know
about it. Thanks.
