Another possiblity is that CyberBob has more than one copy of
COMMAND.COM on his hard drive. If he can boot and then run
Windows, this is a very likely scenario. It can be complicated
by the fact that some people have conflicting SHELL and COMSPEC
statements in CONFIG.SYS and/or AUTOEXEC.BAT. If they are copies
of the same, exact COMMAND.COM, then a problem won't usually
occur until they upgrade their DOS.

A good virus scanner is a must, as well.
