Subject:	Text editor that can look at and edit zipped files

I wrote an emacs-type text edirot. Currently I am adapting it so it can read
and edit the text of zipped file images which are stored inside *.ZIP files.
How much likely need or desire is there for such an editor? Are there any
existing PC text editors that can do that?
