Subject:	Port IO & interrupts

I just brought djgpp over to my machine. So far I am quite pleased,
bu I have a couple of questions regarding low level PC/MSDOS stuff.
1.      How do I install interrupt vectors . (like MSC getvect() ..)?      
2.      Can COM & LPT ports be treated like FILE* (fprintf(COM1,...))?
          
        any comments, sources of info or other help is appreciated.
